Or maybe that rising baseball prospect in the minors? Maybe even that new MMA fighter who just scored a huge upset? Here at the Buried Athlete, we look to provide information about these athletes who have yet to break out and haven't begun to receive mass media attention.
We are young college students who appreciate budding talent and the maturation process of future star athletes. Our goal is to learn more about up-and-coming athletes through interviews with some of the best prospects in today's game. Through social networking, we receive the opportunity to ask questions and gain an understanding of these athletes' lives, ambitions, perspectives, and paths to stardom. We hope to effectively distribute these interviews in an effort to portray what most people don't get a chance to see in today's media: the mindset of the athlete before he breaks out.
